We will be hosting developer workshops in an effort provide a forum for aspiring WordPress developers to learn more about developing both WordPress themes and Plugins. These workshops will be hosted bi-monthly beginning in February, 2017. Each workshop will assume a basic level of competence with software development practices, and relational databases. It is strongly advised you bring a laptop to each event so you can follow along. More information will be provided as we get closer to each workshop, and more workshops will be added as the year progresses.

Description: This workshop, as a followup to our child theme workshop in June, is intended to help learn to build WordPress plugins. We are all going to create a basic plugin together, and walk through the steps required, as well as why and how they work.
Important: You’ll need to bring your laptop if you want to follow along with the workshop. You will not be able to follow along with a tablet.
