Speaker submissions are open. If you want to talk at WordCamp Orlando please fill out our Speaker Application.
WordCamps are an opportunity to get involved in your local WordPress community. You can talk with and learn from other freelancers, developers, designers, agency owners, etc. You can also learn the latest technologies and interact with others located here in Central Florida.
To do that we need members in our community to step onto a stage and share their story. You don’t need to have a special degree or credentials. You just have to have courage and something to share.
Here are a few examples:
- How to write blog posts
- How to improve SEO
- Working with clients
- Running your own business
- Building blocks for Gutenberg
- Creating your own plugin or theme
- Choosing the right plugin or theme
- How to write a kickass blog post
- Installing WordPress
- Tools that you use to work
- Website Security
- Making your site accessible
We’ll have short sessions (about 25 minutes) and longer sessions (about 50 minutes), as well as panel discussions and workshops. We can help you choose the right length or format for your talk.
If you want to join us on a panel related to a topic of your expertise, or do training at any of our workshops, please let us know. You can also reach out directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
Would you be interested in volunteering at the Happiness Bar? We’d love if you could volunteer at the Happiness Bar for the hour after your talk. This won’t affect your speaker application.
